I apologize up front if this is a repeat question, and since I've not been able to find any answer so far I'll give it a try here. I'm trying to use 0SEx to rip the MPEG-2 and AC3 files from a DVD that was recorded in a Panasonic DVD Recorder. Everytime I try to run the program it won't even open. I don't seem to have any problems with other DVDs (pressed or otherwise). Is this a known issue with 0SEx, is there a work around that isn't TOO time consuming? What I'm trying to do is add better menus to a recorded disc that was made for me. The content of the disc is fine but the text menu has to go. Rather that play back and import the DVD via analog I would much rather be able to use the M2V and AC3 files and just create a new menu in DVDSP 2. Thanks in advance for anyone's help in this matter.
That is the version that I'm using. The previous version did the same thing. This only occurs with DVDs recorded in the Panasonic recorders, not with the "Hollywood" DVDs. I don't have any problems with those.
Hi, Probably something you've been replied a thousand times elsewhere, but... Did you try DVDbackup or Yade X instead of OSEx ?
DVDbackup will not extract the MPEG-2 and audio files separately as I need. I can't seem to translate French for Yade X so I can't use that one. Refer to original post for what I'm trying to accomplish. Thanks
I had the exact same problem with 0Sex and Panasonic DVD recorded discs. Yade X worked great however.
