I am trying to get my old version of riverpast 5.0 running on my Win 7 64 bit machine. It opens, locates the file types I want to convert (aa) but errors when saving as an mp3. It says "no mp3 codec" found on my machine, and says this can be because of lame ( I DO have lame enc.dll installed) or direct X. Riverpast 5.0 DOES find the aa files, and open them, but errors out with this codec problem. I'm not sure how to fix this? I thought the correct version of lame and the old audible codec & helper, along with the old audible downloader would do the trick. Any suggestions?
Can't thank you enough! Looks like it's working now. I had tried the codec pack on the riverpast site, but it didn't work. The KLite seems to have done the trick. THANKS!! Tammy
I thought Riverpast 5.0 was only good for up to Windows XP according to the specs. http://www.soft14.com/Audio_and_Mus...s/River_Past_Audio_Converter_3638_Review.html
