Well; as with many other electronics [not sure if it really pertains computers or not;]; they say ur not supposed to have them in direct sunlight; so I'm not really sure whether that would affect your comp. or not depending on where you live; but IMO you should be okay;.
Thank you. I seemrd to recall that its related to sunlight, or heat from sunlight damaging system. Then too there would be reflection on monitor.
I like to put a desk or my table in front of a window but I can't tell you how often I've left the window open and came home to a drenched table from a hard rain etc.
my computer desk is in front of a window since day one..in my computer room..my monitors are directly under the window.. never had a problem..
@everyone...but is there any truth to the "warm room" stuff?? Our phone, server etc. are in a small unventilated room which could double as a sauna. While putting in a T-Line has helped (whatever that is ... something like a G string I guess) but while our computers at the office are pretty new dells, the internet, while faster since the installation of the G string, is still pretty pathetic.
