I just upgraded from version 7 to version 8.
(note: completely uninstalled 7, rebooted, and installed 8.
had an issue with the audio, so i also tried uninstalling 8, rebooting, re-installing 8, rebooting, and still have an audio conflict)

i am trying to use the MyDVD to transfer an xvid/avi with ac3 audio and burning it. even in preview mode, there is no audio let alone after it burns to dvd.
but in version 7 i did the same exact thing and it works perfectly!
im thinking of going back to 7, unless someone knows how to fix this!! any ideas? i checked the settings and everything is set perfectly to my knowledge....

So it working in windows media player?
IF so then either look for an update on the roxio website or go back to version 7.

it just seems odd that i have to downgrade my software after purchasing it from 8 to 7. i did the updates. still very strange. any other programs better than roxio anyway? they lose credibility more and more after they release new products.

Some other programs that are "better" than roxio IMO (even though ive never used roxio) include Ulead, Sony Vegas, Adobe Premier Pro, Pinncale and maybe WinDVD.
    Hope this helps
