Okay, first of all I want to say yes I and the person that gave me file are morons..

I have XBMC set as my dashboard with the shortcut maker. So I just took off the EvoX default.xbe and replaced it with the shortcut so it would boot XBMCs default.xbe. Anyways, I forgot to save the default.xbe out of the XBMC folder on my xbox before I deleted it and when I tried to put the folder back on my xbox I asked a friend for the XBMCs default.xbe, well he gave me the shortcut apparently..Now it just boots to the XBOX then below it says "Microsoft" screen. I can't ftp to it at this screen. Are there any quick fixes to this problem? I would appreciate the help. Thanks!

I tried connecting to it while a game is going, but of course that doesn't work. I don't know if you can connect to it while a movie is playing, i'm trying to find out, but my drive needs re-calibrated and it doesn't always read the disc..

    Any suggestions?

I ended up talking to a friend and he had a linux iso disk that I could burn and it would let me hook up my harddrive from the xbox to the pc so it would read it and I could replace the wrong file. Thanks for your help though!
