rt61 chipset doesn't work in ubuntu/linux mint

    many people have gotten this card to work, but for some reason it won't work for me...

    I can see the networks i want to connect to but i can't actually connect

    btw i am using the gnome versions of both (with the gnome network manager)

    do you think kde will solve my problems?
