I am looking to increase the utility of my Nintendo DS Lite to be able to view pictures, play MP3 files, etc. managing them from my computer and have been researching some of the different options that I have and this is what I find. I am considering the M3 Lite Pro with Passcard 3 which I have found on www.gameyeeeah.com for $60. I am not interested in home brews or emulators only in the picture viewer, music player, and pda function and am wondering if I need the Passcard 3 to use those functions or if I only need the M3 Lite Pro. Any advice on this? Also does anyone have information on the U.S. release date for the Web Browser Opera is planning to release/if a English model from Europe can be used functionally in the States? Thanks for any information you have.

The M3 Lite Pro can do Music and Picture viewer without the Passcard 3 (though the screen in cropped as it's GBA mode), but any PDA programs need the Passcard 3 as this enables DS mode (both screens/touch screen support etc.).

The European Opera Browser will work perfectly in the US.
