I have been getting an error message whenever I use Internet Explorer(v6.02), which says: A Runtime Error has occurred. Do you wish to Debug. Line: 230 Error: Expected identifier I have windows updates turned on and I frequently update my software but I still get this message. Not sure how to get rid of it so if you do please assist me.
I don't see it in this version, but there used to be a box in the advanced settings, that you unchecked, so you would not see the prompt to debug. Ok, I found it. Under Tools/Internet Options/Advanced, look under browsing, and put a check in the box to the left of "Disable script debugging". That should cure the problem. Post back, if it works.
Thanks for the speedy response. I turned off the Machine Debug Manager(from Run->msconfig->services)when this problem started, thinking that it would help but it didn't. I also use Firefox and I have no problems with this browser. I am stumped. If those angels are your kids or grandkids they are really cute. You have all right to be proud. Be careful though. There are a lot of psychos on the internet so you might want to conceal their identity. BTW Grandpa I left you a little message in the thread entitled 'Notice of Subpoena'. I sincerely hope that Pulsar has a great sense of humor or else I'm in for it. Cheers.
Silly me. I just saw the bottom of your message about the fix and I did it. Working well so far. Thank you very much. You are my new hero. Not that being a war veteran didn't already make you one. So let me amend that, you are my new geek hero . That just doesn't sound right, but you know what I mean.
You are welcome. It should take care of your problem, permanently. Those are my 2 grandkids. Off to see them in a couple of hours.
