You MUST've answered this question lots of times earlier for different people BUT PLEASE HELP ME. I've a DVD +/- RW. I've downloaded movies in different formats. I simply want to burn them on blank dvd's, IN A FORMAT THAT ANY INDEPENDENT STAND ALONE DVD PLAYER CAN PLAY THEM. What is/are those formats and how do I convert downloaded movies to that format AND then burn them on a blank DVD? How to convert VCD and other formats of DVD to a commonly playable PC and stand alone DVD format? I've burnt one DVD (one movie but the file is in two parts) but on the DVD it shows the icon of real player on both the files, will it work on a stand alone DVD player? How can I solve that? How can I combine two files of the same movie to make it into one movie so that it plays in continuity on a stand alone DVD player or PC? Also in some movies I've EXCELLENT video quality BUT no or very soft audio, what can I do for that too? My mail add is xl_xxx3@yahoo.co.in. Thanks in advance and saving me from my wive's beating.
Also please help me with, how to convert a big movie, which can't fit on one DVD, into two DVD's one after the other, while burning from my hard disk to the DVD burner.
By downloading, you mean from the internet? If so, that is piracy and we do not discuss that here, for it is illegal.
Bacchu. You must surely be a class A Twonk, you broke nearly every rule in one posting!! It's a classic!!
Dear Pudgy and Brian, First and foremost not every downloading from the net is piracy (probably you've never used your credit card on the net so you must only be knowing about pirated downloading???) and Brian what's a Twonk and what rules've I broken?? Why is mine a classic???
Can't anyone at-all help me??? I mean there must be some nice soul out there who can help me Pllllssssssss.......
Bacchu, First of all, When you say Downloaded, it is usually interpreted as "Pirated" unless you state otherwise. As far as burning a blank that will play on a stand alone, I suppose that would be determined by the format that your stand alone will accept. Most newer players I believe accept most formats. Trial and error is the best learning tool. Good Luck, Sher
Bacchu What site are you downloading these movies from legally?. I am very interested in browsing this site myself out of curiosity.
hey bacchu, click on the guides tab and read the guides. no one is going to spell out how to convert files, when a guide has been written.
