I am a noob at s-video things and am trying to have my Laptop monitor on my TV. I got the s-video cable and have hooked every thing up and set all the settings up to make it work but what happens is it isnt showing the actualy laptop screen it is showing more of an extension of it if my screen was longer like this is Side 1 and the TV is Side 2 I have an Ati IGP 345M. Please Help!!!
go to display properties, then to setting, and then to advanced.......in there, there should be an options so that u can either have ur tv as an extension or ur pc as an extension, or u can use just your tv or just your laptop....or use both at the same time......i don't have that video card so i don't know exactly.....but yeah look around in there....that is the problem forsure.......(ps is your tv a little blurry compared to ur laptop?...i'm having that problem)
Yes my screen is a bit blurry and I am looking for the answer to solving that (I see you had posted there asking the same thing) ok what I did was right click on my desktop -----> Settings Tab and then unchecked "Extend my Windows desktop on to this monitor" I am pretty sure it is the same with all Windows XP systems.
