Im not sure this belongs on this board, but there dos'nt seem to be a "downloading" board, and what I want to download are homebrew apps dashs and stuff for my XModBox. anyhoo Im sorta a N00b at all this download stuff and I was hoping(seeing as you guys have been helpfull in the past)that you guys could recommend/explain a good "torrent" client for me to download. 1 It has to be free(share?)ware (whats the difference?) as I do not have a credit card. 2 risks: according to what I have been able to research, torrents are p2p file sharing protocols which would make my "Shared folder" visible to anyone with a similer client? How safe is that? can people access other areas on my comp? If my Shared folder is empty will the torrent still work? ummmmmm..... basicly is this somtehing I can use without getting spy/ad/ wared keylogged, hacked, and otherwise F***ed?
Wrong forum try the "windows p2p software" forum and read the stickies on torrent you'll find your answers there or you can also access xbins and there is a sticky on this in this forum called" how to acess xbinx" try that to find xbox software, dashboard, etc.
