samsung dvd with cd?

    ok i know the xbox has problems with cd's but i put my snes cd disk what i made in and it can read the disk
    is this normall?

    i have samsung dvd
    i will upload some picture later today of it and may be a quick we cam of it ok
    but right now im going to paint my warhammer

    well i dont think soft modded xbox can read CD+R but they can read originalls and CD+RW and data disks im not sure about bootleg dvd movies??

    yeh its a data disk of snes roms
    its a cd-r and it dectected i was just like thinking ant it inpossable but seeing that it is possable

    Sure it's normal. Just not common.

    Generally speaking, Xbox optical drives have trouble with recordable CD media. Now, some drives do have the ability to read burned CDs just fine, with Thomson being the least likely and Samsung being the most.

    And PAN5Y, DVD back-ups work just fine. That's all I ever use on my Xbox and I have an old v1.0 with a Thomson drive in it.
