samsung e530 - help i dropped it in the bath !!!!!!!!

i dropped my samsung e530 in the bath it was in ther for a couple of seconds and then i took it out and dried it down. it was fine but the sound was a bit muffled as there was water in the speaker so i got the water out and then it was fine.i turned my phone off and put it aside and now it won't turn back on! i don't know what to do i don't want a new phone this one is practically brand new! i took the battery part off and wiped a little bit of water off that and the sim card area. when i turn it on it shows the lit up screen but as soon as i take my finger off the button no matter how long i have kept it on there for it goes straight back off PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! thnks

 

what kind of soap did you use

Phones don't like water but often enough if dried out over a week on a radiator should be ok.

 

Try leaving it over night in the airing cuboard
