hi, anyone have a Samsung 46" LNS4696DX , im trying to find some reviews on it, am trying to find a good Plasma for my dvd's , PS3 , and future BlueRays , Thanks
Are you a A-Lister Celebrity? How on earth did you manage to get your hands on a PS3 already!? :S You lucky ducky!!
lol , im planning ahead, i want to have my Plasma all ready to go for the PS3 when it comes out, im going to be one of them waiting outside in line for one , woohoo
i seen in Costco that they have a nice 46" Vizio GV46L for about $1,700, and right next to it was a Sony KDL46V25L1 which supports up to 1080i not p , for about $3,600 the Sony looked to me just alittle better, and it has for to hdmi connections. They are both LCD , but isnt Plasma better, i dont really care much about it lasting longer, want that higher quality for my future PS3 , and my dvd movies. I heard for the PS3 its going to be 1080i , but i wonder if Plasma would stil be better picture over all, thanks
i think the best way to find out info is from foum's like this one, or other's. from people who own, and aren't trying to sell. i'm not to sure about the reviews when i go to a site trying to sell a product, and look at theirs. i've looked for about a month for independent reviews on hdtv's and either i don't know where to look or there just aren't many out there. a couple i found: av fourm, cnet has good reviews but sometimes the lasest models aren't listed, and hd fourm. i also use my samsung dlp for my computer monitor, ps2, dvd player and find that i often nod out and wake to find things at a stand still. all the reviews i read about plasma's state they still suffer from burn in, and that's bad if you happen to nap for periods of time like me. lcd's and plasma's are now runnig neck in neck with one another in quality and price, and lcd and dlp's don't suffer from burn in like plasma's. with my limited knowledge i think the lcd and dlp just aren't as crisp with the color's black or white, but when i saw lcd and plasma next to each other i couldnt tell. then again i'm only an expert on what satisfies my own eye's.
