    Need help to unlock Samsung R225M

    The info is below.
    Samsung R225M T-Mobile USA IMEI: 01012508992871/0
    Not certain if the / and last zero is relevant.

    I listed my phone details above, but now have to question, has anyone ever unlocked a R225M?

    The more I search, the more I see people requesting info on how to unlock them but no one seems to be able to answer the question.

    Some people have suggested calling T-Mobile and they will give you the unlock code if your account has been active over 3 months. The problem with the phone that I have is that the T-Mobile account is now inactive, so getting the code that way seems impossible.

    As I said, has anyone ever unlocked one of these phones? If so, how did they do it.

    Has anyone ever unlocked one of these phones other than getting codes from T-Mobile??

    Anybody with any info???

    Not trying to "bump" this thread, but I do not wish to repeat all the details in a new thread.

    Has anyone EVER been unable to unlock a R225M?

    I have seen offers by people to unlock them for $$.

    I have seen people saying they can only be unlocked with data cables.

    I have seen people saying that T-Mobile can provide the unlock codes if the account is more than 3 months active.

    Should I just throw this phone in the trash and forget about it?

    Some help here would be appreciated.

    The last 0 is relevent.

    I am also trying to unlock an R225M.
    IMEI: 010125080216628

    I actually purchased the NS Dongle box and cable to unlock the phone and I was rather upset that I cannot do it.

    If there is anybody out there that can help, I would appreciate it.

    I contacted T-Mobile and they gave me the unlock code for my Samsung R225.

    To unlock the R225, enter the following

    #0111*<unlock code># and off you go.

    Hey kwatts i tried the #0111*<unlock code> but my phone says not yet personilised.

    Another thing after entering the Reset code *2767*2878# it says Custom E2P or EZP Reset, am i supposed 2 wait

    I want to unlock my samsung r225 to be used in Cingular network. Since I am no longer w/ T-mobile, I can't call for support. How do I unlock r225, or what unlock code can I use? Pls help. /thanks
