Hi, The drive works. I can play dvds, listen to audio cds but none of it works how it should. under my computer, it is recognized as "CD drive (D:\) When I try to double click that icon under my computer I get the error, "D:\ is not accessible Incorrect Function" I downloaded firmware for the drive and it came in a .bin, I dont know how to install it not sure if that is even the problem. please let me know thanks
Go to hardware manager and uninstall the secondary IDE controller then reboot your pc. see if that has fixed it.
