I have purchased a Samsung VP D-351 PAL Camcorder and would like to put the images on my PC to edit. I am using Windows 98 and have just had a fire wire card fitted. I have followed instructions seen on this site and confirm my Firewire card works. but i can not see any of my camcorder images on my PC. Everytime i try to connect my camcorder to the PC i see the following message - 1394\031887 & 040892. I have contacted Samsung whos reply was to use Windows Movie Maker, which isnt available in windows 98 What am i doing wrong?
