My 9-year old would like some san disk cards, I am assuming, for his Nintendo DS. What size GB should I get? Thanks, Amy

LOL it depends. I suggest 2GB. It's enough for me.

depends what it is going into, micro SD currently go up to 16GB but there are two types

Micro SD commonly up to 2GB but can get 4GB rarely

    Micro SDHC 4GB - 16GB

If the devise can use SDHC cards then it can use anything, if it can only use SD then you cannot get a SDHC as it will not work, so limited to 2GB in most cases.

Also some devices need a faster card class 4 or 6 (6 being the fastest) some don't.

In short depends what you want to put it into.

In my opinion, .nds files for the nintendo DS are no where near the size of a PSP ISO file. Most .nds files average around 200mb at the max. So 2 GB should be sufficient. Anyway if that is not enough just buy another 2 GB Micro SD card. Buying two 2GB micro SD cards is cheaper than one 4GB micro SD cards.
