SANYO XACTI Digital Movie C5 (MPEG4) any good ?

    Hi, did anybody already do some experiences with this mpeg4 camcorder SANYO XACTI Digital Movie C5 ?
    Are sample files available, at different bitrates ( 3000, 2000, 640 ) ?

    I hope that you're not expecting miniDV-level quality, because then you would be disappointed...

    These solid state MPEG4 camcorders are really just digital stills cameras shaped more like a camcorder. A haf decent digital still camera will capture video at as high if not higher quality (as they usually have much better lens') than these so called camcorders. I bought one, binned it and now have a proper miniDV camcorder.
