Hows things, I want to get a sat system, but where do I start, ? Ive no clue what to get. Basically I want a system that can watch the prem football ,( + any football in europe for that matter ) + the free-to-air movie/kids channels. PVR and HD preferable Any help on what I need and where to get it would be great. Im in Ireland. cheers
I suggest you read the Dreambox threads, use the search function above and also read the Blade Threads, start there, no point in typing it all out again when its covered in those threads

have a read do the blade threads, good box, excellent pic by all accounts, PVR (but single tuner, 3D ready or capable, seems to be a storming box, search for Hi Tecks guide on here also, make a good read
if you want the new saorview channels like rte2hd get an aerial added to sat pole if you want to add the irish dtt channels when you run cables down all at once.mickah uses a wire coat hanger.
