Satellite HD Flash Box Receiver

Hello,

I have a Satellite Dish at my balcony and looking for a reliable HD Box Receiver out there to Flash and use to watch all channels. Can someone please advice which one I can go for and where and how to flash the box after I have purchased it please. My Satellite has Dual Cox cable connectors. Would prefer HD box. is the Amiko HD SE or the Openbox V8s full HD any good and can they be flashed to get all Sly channels?

Please advice on both Box receiver and where I can download the firmware to flash the box

I have no complaints with the zgemma star 2s , it can record one channel while watching another and it's enigma 2 so installing add ons like kodi or iptv player is handy too . Ordered mine from ali express but Google and see what's on offer

 

Hello, Thanks for your responce. Did you have to flash your receiver when you first got it? Are you getting all sky channels? If yes, can advice where you got the firmware from the flash the box. regards

 

Yes I get all channels but not all hd channels ,it came with older version of openatv but I flashed the box with openatv 5.1

• I don't know enough about the boxes to advise you on which to get their is a wide range of receivers out there .I'm happy with the zgemna star 2s ! It's up to you which to get ,the more you spend the more options you have ,I'm trying to upload a pic of the instructions from the manual , I'll get back to you on that !

No problem , you might want to look for something with a twin tuner so you can record one channel while watching another as most receivers are hd now

 

Yeah that's what I'm actually after. A twin HD tuner but struggling to choose as there are so many out there. Not sure which onces I can flash to get all chanels

DO YOU GET INTERNATIONAL CHANNELS ON YOURS AND IS YOUR BOX HD?

you can flash whatever img is available for your box, you wont get all channels until you do some reading and spending ££s. both boxes are basic boxes not linux, both have 1 tuner,
