Hi all new to this so bare with me, I have installed satellite tv in southern spain down around alicanti area, I bought a dish and receiver in lidl in spain, spent hours trying to line it up and when i eventually got it tuned in I can only receive shopping or channels which are of no interest, I can receive sky news but thats it, I have an 80cm dish, any advice or help would be very much appreciated

Thanks Rev, A lot of technical stuff on that web site, as I am not a techi, i need satellite for dummies, Some people have said its near impossible to receive Uk channels in southern Spain without the use of a very large dish, a lot of TV outlets are selling the smaller disk with a list of UK channels on the box, so you can understand why I am confused. I assume so as everything came in the box, unless the FTR is a different type receiver. A lot of the sky type channels appear with a dollar symbol beside them, I can receive CNN and some asian channels so Im assuming the dish is lined up correctly.
