    Hi,

I got married a year ago and only recently finished editing my wedding video on windows movie maker, then using Nero Vision Express I designed a lovely menu(in my opinion!) and completed the project: upon watching the project on my DVD player, the audio is a nano second out from the footage! I've saw people complain about this on other forums and on here somewhere but couldn't find thread! The AVI file plays without any glitch on my PC.

I have tried messing around with codecs and all sorts but cannot get Nero to produce a final version that is acceptable: the sound during the wedding vows although 'just out of sync' is still noticable.

I have tried to use AVi2DVD but that's telling me that AVi2DVD cannot support directly dv avi's so I have do a convertion that genereates an AVI that can be loaded to avi2dvd.

Problem here is that when I do this, it only converts about 15mins of my hour long dv AVI file.

I also hate the dvd menu creator with avi2dvd, what can I do people??
Is there a free encoder software that I can use and then create my DVD menu on Nero or can anyone solve the Nero problem in the first place?

Sorry for the massive rambling post, I'm getting desperate!

    Ryan.

    Hi,

Please take some time to read the forum rules as one thread per problem so you don't get multiple suggestions and end up confusing yourself.
