Has anybody been able to successfully burn Saving Private Ryan on a blank DVD as well as have it play normally on a DVD player? I've tried using DVD Shrink 2.3 and then used Nero Burning 6: Ultra Edition. After that, I tried to compress the files toward my hard drive using DVD Shrink 3.0 Beta 5 and then used CloneDVD 1.2.8.4. Both methods indicated that the files were successfully burnt toward the blank dvd disks. However, my dvd player couldn't play any of the burnt copies. I even tried to re-author the movie but the last part of the movie kept on skipping. I'm currently using the Comp USA media. I don't think that is the problem since I've been able to burn six other movies. Any ideas?

I did S.P.R using the following:

Dvd decrypter - file mode - just movie
    Dvd2one - variable - 4440Mb compression
Recordnow DX - burning the dvd-r

No problems encountered during playback on:
    Philips dvd880
    Lg3200e
    Cyberhome 402
    Lecson dv900
    Bush 1000
    Cyberhome 505 (I think)
    Limit - cheapo
    PS2

Sounds like it maybe your method - state what method you use......

Check out http://www.chrismccann.co.uk for a great guide on Dvd Shrink and there is a nero guide up there aswell (for the nero 5 though)

Also I would recommend Recordnow DX for burning, it has been flawless for me - also a link for the trial download and guide is there aswell......

    Hope this helps.....
