Just saw a billboard sign, Saw V out in theatres on Oct 24,2008

This means the dvd will probably be out in Feb or March 2009.

Man, the threads are gonna say "can't back up, new encryption" and be a mile long.

This is going to make Binkie's day !

Not another one... damn.. the last 3 have been boring gorefests. I like a bit of blood and guts but really.. it's going to be Rambo86 and sawLXIII by the time I retire. Boring.. so boring. When do we get the Saw..the Musical? or Saw vs Alien vs Predator vs The Spice Girls does Dallas 28 days after... I would pay to see that.

Whatever happened to the WOW factor in films? No wow film this year, nothing which will get in the top 50 greatest films lists. XD

You know what's funny!! I haven't seen any of them and prolly won't! :p

Excellent question and the movies that I want to own this year have been lower than I'd like to admit. Unfortunate as it may be I still "own" a few that I wish I didn't. lol.

Oh btw.... Got hold of St. Trinians and thought that was a funny flick actually. :D

Sorry for the OT... I'm sure it's not the last in this thread. :p

Huh...moi? "different" say it ain't so!

Think about it, some young girl is caught in a timed trap that will disembowel her if she doesn't find the key. She bursts into song about how she's should've listened to her mom and she wouldn't be in this mess to begin with. Then we swithc scenes to the Antagonist (whoever that is for this film) and he's singing about how he loves ducks and peanut butter and jelly sandwiches.

    Ah...that's entertainment.

    7th has issues.

But what about Saw vs Alien vs Predator vs The Spice girls.. now that could be a musical too.. though it depends what you call music..

I can see it now.. Mel B to alien beastie "If you don't stop dripping that bloody sticky slime everywhere I'm going to punch you right in the gob"
Alien beastie looks at skanky Sheffield slapper and runs, just in time before she starts singing or tries to have offspring with it.... or both.

**hides in corner.. frightened myself now**

saw is always entertaining when there is nothing else to do. its beginning to turn into anther tremors series though, except saw somehow manages to still get in the theatres.

    EDIT:
i dont know what i'm more surprised about; saw V making it to the theatres or me being the only person not an addict in this thread.

If this is your idea of entertainment, I'll go and watch "Attack of the killer tomatoes"

well i meant entertaining as in a sense of the "eww" factor the series brings. Even if you're not a big fan of the series, which I'm not, you can't say you're not impressed with all the new killing devices they come up with.
