Does anyone have an opinion on whether the HP Scanjet 2400 scanner is better, worse or the same as the HP Scanjet 3570c scanner. The optical resolution in both is 1200 dpi x 1200 dpi and they are both 48-bit colour.
thistle48, To answer your question with regard to the two HP scanners,(good brand too) I bought a canon scanner for my family and had the same dilema. What is the difference if the resolution is identical? Well ours had an extra two buttons, one for fax and another for email functions and also came bundled with some software for editing photo's and the like, but they "LOOKED" the same. The buttons wern't immediately obvious at the time. Have a closer look, and I bet that there are some functions that differ between the two. One last comment, check the scanning speeds, you never know.
