Any of you all seen this movie? I loved it when I saw it in theaters, but why isnt it on DVD yet? Should be soon, right? I wanna pickup the uncut version but dont know when it comes out. Help!
BAH- Don't wanna let this go unattended, release date for "Scary Movie 4: Uncut & Unsanitized Edition" is 14th August 2006 IIRC.
I'm only in good impression about first part of these movies, don't like the second and didn't saw the third part. Maybe be take a look at the fourth.
the 4th scary movie was pretty good, looking forward to the unrated dvd though to see what they added.
umm, i havent seen 1 yet but i have seen 2-4 and i think that 2 and 3 were better but 4 was still funny.
well I was thinking that maybe 3 scary movies was enough until I actually saw the 4th. Seems like the horror genre is very vast and theres alot of fresh material to be spoofed. They do a good job of making fun of in other movies too like million dollar baby and war of the worlds, they especially get tom cruise though, I won't spoil the funny segment of it but they make fun of the oprah episode where he's jumping on the couch.
after first 5 mins you can skip the rest of the movie imo.... thought it would be ok after I saw those 5 mins but then it became to be pile of s*it...
you know sometimes sequels can be devastatingly dissapointing, i mean take "The Matrix" for example the first one was well beyond a good film when it first came out, but with "Relaoded" they got a bit carried away. Unless if a film when first started out was intended to have a sequel, it wont be good. sometimes a sequel can be good, and then the third just spoils it, take "Home Alone" as an example, first and second BRILLIANT third UMM NOT SO GOOD. I think producers directors writers etc. should know when to stop.
yeah actually more often the case sequels are really bad I agree. Not with scary movie 4 though. I actually enjoyed it more than the 3rd film (perhaps because this movie is closer to David Zucker's classic spoof films like Airplane and Naked Gun) The Charlie Sheen cameo really brought back some memories lol. The uncut DVD is pretty cool though. Haven't had the time to watch all the special features yet but the movie lightened my mood a bit.
i enjoyed it, quite funny in parts. however this is now closed as there's a proper thread here - http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/337072
