    Hi,

scholarships usually require positive id, and that means a ssn. Unless it is a benefactor grant ( you being the 7th son/daughter of a 7th son/daughter with a family name of Wuzazinski eg), not much much help here. Sorry :(

At some point in the process you will be required to provide your SSN. If not at application, certainly before it is granted.

    Don't fool yourself. It's a requirement.

It's a good thing that no one suggested a scholarship that didn't require a SSN. I can just see you posting back that you already knew about it, since you failed to post the ones than you knew about.

Any particular reason that you don't want one that requires a SSN?
