HEy all, I just tried to put a Data DVD+R into my disc drive, and nothing happened. There is nothing in My Computer, and I cannot seem to find my D Drive. I typed in D:/, but them it said it was disallowed. Is there any way to get by this block of the disc drive?
And your point?.. The D: drive has been disabled at school.. the fact your disk works at home doesn't have any effect on school hardware. Talk to the system administrator at school and find out why they have disabled the cd/dvd drives. They will have very good reasons for doing so. Most public machines have no way whatsoever for users to run external software. Read your school computer users access policy.
