what deos s/w trensfer mean and do i need to do it, also i live in edinburgh, so do i scan NTL TELEWEST OR OTHER, i cant get channels to unscramble, rippin my hair out
s/w transfare means transferring software from another starview using a null modem cable. you can transfare the firmware file or channel data file using this method. you scan for channels from your cable provider, eg ntl or telewest.
