Ok here is the deal: I asked my friend to mod a used xbox that i bought. He has experience modding them and is a computer wiz, but this baffles him. Everything seems perfect and it looks to be finished, but when he boots it up, you see the xbox screen, and then it goes blank. The same thing happens when the chip is disabled. I know it worked before he did anything to it. Any ideas what is going on? Its a xececutor 2.6ce flashed with evolutionx8+. Please help out if you can
Have him check for any bridged or incorrect solder connections. I think he may have botched the installation. Either that, or he messed with the hard drive files and didn't install the hacked dashboards correctly.
