Is it true that when you use a sdhc card, such as a 8gb micro sd, that everything runs slower, i remember reading it somewhere...

I can let you know in a week. I have ordered a 4g card for my Cyclo DS.

not true, the size of your card does not affect the speed of games, there is however a greater chance of you micro card being too defragged, this is not a critical issue though if this error comes up you will only need to format you micro and reput the files. I have had the cyclo and a 4 gb hcsd for almost a year and it has only happened once.

I think what he means is that the data on the SDHC gets spread all over the card everytime you delete/add files just like your HDD in your computer. Defrag is an app that sequences the data as best as possible which typically results in a fasterload time.

Not to sway this thread too far, I was thinking of getting a Cyclo, any reviews on this? I'm assuming it takes SDHC cards

There are reviews of cycloDS. Maybe gbatemp?

    Anyway. CycloDS

has an in game menu. You can change the backlite between 4 settings while you are playing. In game menu works for most games. It works for the (U) version of Lostmagic and not the (E). I guess no one plays the (E).

You get 50% slow down and one save state.

They say rumble from the EZ-Flash 3 in 1 is supported.

The CycloDS has a large chunk of its own memory for updates.

The micro DS card really takes concentration and a strong thumb nail to remove from the CycloDS. *looks for WD-40*

It costs a bit more and is a bit harder to find.

The site for support gets hosed but gbatemp has all of the download. I got my CycloDS and freaked out because I could not link to support. Then I realized that gbatemp has all of the upgrades.
