Search box in XP

Hi

When I click on the search box in the start menu in XP it opens up ok but the boxes for typing the subject in are missing, Any ideas?

I had this problem on just one user. Try to create another user and see if it happens. My fix though was reformatting. There may be other ways, but I just reformatted because I had slow computer performance.

 

Thanks for the reply, I had to go down the reformatting path aswell,Pain in the ar*e but I couldnt find any other way of sorting it out.
