My problem is about trying to make the second pass work. It dosn't. I'm sure that I've never forgot to check "Add operation to the job list" and also I never forgot to select again the second pass on the VRB mode when I start to rip a new movie. Try running the 1st and second pass manually. Instead of adding operation to job list just click save, let the 1st pass run and then do the second pass the same way. I know it worked for me when encoding in xvid.
