Segmented RAR making program

    what program can I usw to make a 1.6gb file into 3 different 600mb or so files? ive downloaded and unRARed several files that use the part01.rar, part02.rar etc. format. Now i want to make those myself and burn them to a disk to conserve HD space. thanks

    When you click Add to create an archive, on the lower left of the screen entitled "Archive name and parameters" is an option called "Split to volumes, bytes". Type in the desired size of each volume in bytes and you're good to go.

    To do what you want to do you need the program WinRar isntalled and then follow Dunker's directions. If you need more descriptive instructions I will try my best to get pictures up to help you out.
