    not sure about make will let you know when i get the hard drive because it is a friends and he i dropping it off in a couple of days.

    I take it it is an IDE drive? And were are you guys located I am in the states.

    Thanks for the unit conversion ddp. And I check prices online at newegg just to see if this would really be that great of a deal for me. And 40 Gb IDE harddrives go for US $37 new with $7 shipping.

    I was really just looking to get a small ide harddrive to throw a linux server distro on for my home media server/ssh client/etc. And decided on a IDE drive to keep as many SATA ports open as possible for my media hard drives. SO I guess a newegg purchase is in my future. :)
