Service Pack 2 messes up my system!

    When I install Service Pack 2 everything slows down A LOT. I mean it is ridiculous that I can barely run AIM when I installed service pack 2, I was wondering why this happens?

    Here are my system specs:
    ASUS K8V Motherboard
    AMD Athlon 64 3200+ Processor 2.20 GHZ
    1.25 GB of PC-2700 RAM
    ATI Radeon 8500
    Audigy Gamer Sound Card

    SP2 seems to be causing some weird problems, I'm stayign away fromit for a while.

    i installed it, and i've noticed a slow down too. although it seems to be the worst at startup, and has slowwwlly gotten faster since i got it. i'm hoping they'll put out a fix soon, however.

    Ive installed XP SP2 on all my machines here and i have noticed a slight increase in performance whilst using explorer etc, and i havnt had a problem what so ever.

    xp sp2 has tottally messed up my dvd back up system i finally had working smoothley,

    i so wish i hadn't installed it,

    i'm in touch with msn right and they're trying to help but being v slow getting back to me,

    wmp keeps crashing, i can't play ANY of my avi or xvid files !

    it's a nightmare,

    i need help big time
