setting up a media server on a desk top w/ a wireless card

    ok i have set up my house to be completly wireless. i put a wireless reciever in my desktop and i got every thing online no problem. i recently got a ps3 and now i want to set up my desktop up as a media server so i can access my media on the ps3 is it possable to set things up so that my wireless card can both get me internet access and be used to link it up to my ps3

    You can use something like orb. The PS3 will just see it and you should be able to play the music or whatever media you have. That is how i currently have mine setup.

    You can also use PS3 media server, and you can even use a HTTP server like apache if all the media is already in ps3-compatible containers.

    i finaly figured out what was up i had a setting not set right in my router thanks for the ideas
