setting up freeview on samsung 2333hd

hi everyone

i was just wondering if anyone knew how to set up freeview on a samsung hdtv. ive tried using the auto store function and it works only when a antenna is attached but the picture quality is really poor. is there a another way to get the freeview channels. or is this the only way, cos i had the idea that a digital tuner meant the tunings for the channels would be done through a digital search instead of analog.
