Setting up phpBB...help!

    I want to set up a phpBB forum on the internet. I have a .com website that is pretty crappy and I thought re doing the website might be a good idea over my fall break. I want to learn and use phpBB for my website. Can you guys help me step by step to get this working? I know HTML but nothing with phpBB, I don't know how to set it up. I used FTP to make websites then upload it through that. Any help would be great~ Thanx a ton AD!

    In addition to the phpBB would it be possible to run like a portal page before directly connecting to the forum? I think it was called a Smartor ezPortal. Anyone know???
