I dont know if anyone out there can help, I am usually smart when it comes to video type stuff... anyways, I just got VSO Convert X To DVD and I love it. Usually my other programs take forever to convert AVI files to DVD and this program is the best but Im having one problem. I have the Birds of Prey series in AVI format and which is displayed in anormorphic widescreen I suppose? Well when I burned it to DVD, the borders are removed and it is zoomed in. The quality is great but I want it in the orignal form. I have a full screen TV so what do I need to set the settings as? In settings under "TV Format" I have Video Standard, DVD Resolution, and TV Screen. And in "Video Processing" there is a video resize method.. which option is making the DVD cut the widescreen bars and zooming in? Help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

If you have a traditional TV screen, you can set 'TV screen' to 4:3 (Fullscreen) or leave it automatic - whichever you choose, the aspect ratio of the source video is contained in the DVD stream.

This information is handed to the DVD player so that it knows the aspect ratio of the screen it was made for.
If the source has a widescreen aspect ratio, the DVD player (which knows the type of TV screen it's connected to - because you set up the DVD players menu when you got it - knows whether to send the video onward as letterboxed for a traditional TV or widescreen for the newer TV's.
