Hi, Im a real noob so i just have some questions After a really long time i have finally decided to cancel sky. I am in London and im going to get virgin media phone line and broadband. If i do this will i be able to use boxes like starview and eurovox because of Nagra 3? Which is the best one to get and is reliable? I want it to be able to record programs like how sky+ does if that's possible and i might get two, one HD and one not, if thats possible? Also will i be able to install it myself or do i have to get someone who knows how to do it? And i am in a analogue area, i just did the virgin media postcode checker and it says i can get some of it's services like fibre optic broadband, home phone and tv. A few years ago i remember someone telling me that starview doesn't work in analogue areas, is this true? Thanks
Jordan, there are two very popular starview threads currently running on this site that explains what you can do. No Eurovox solution it seems as yet. I won't delve into analogue over fibre-optic too much, but lets just say that where you can get 100s of Mbs of data down a fibre connection you can get more than enough bandwidth down an analog connection to do what you need
ok but is there a box that will work with nagra 3 and can record programs like sky+. And another one which is the same but is HD?
