should i softmod my xbox ???

    hi..
    i have a broken xbox with no dashboard.. the hard drive is unlocked.. i need to somehow lock it, but how can i lock it without a dashboard,

    so if you know how to lock the HDD please tell me!!!

    if i softmodded it would that work

    Yes, if you had a softmod that would help, but I'm not sure you can softmod without the dash.

    If you can gain ftp access through the sofmod installer screen, you could ftp what you need to your xbox. Configmagic is an app that would let you lock the HD

    He said his Xbox is broken because HDD is unlock so FTP is out of the question, and if you don't have your eeprom, softmod is also out of the question, what you will need is a modchip. You can lock the HHD but in order for it to work on your Xbox you will need to lock your HHD using your eeprom.
