Hi, I posted this within another forum but have had no response so thought i'd try here. I have a WMV file, some AVI files and want to convert the size down so I can play it on my pda. The large files (500mb ish) are just to big screen wise to play. Play slow too, like stuttering. Is their a program I can do this with? If so which one? Tutorials? Thanks Woz
If you ve windows media player version 10 or higher, you can sync the file directly to the pda. It converts a 350meg avi down to #105 meg and plays fine through the pda. There is also a program called dvd to ppc which can conpress mpeg, avi or dvd's to fit on pda
Thanks. Just tried it but it says error in converting the specified file. I tried AVI and WMV. Any suggestions?
Just use windows media encoder, convert the file you want to wmv for pocket pc, http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/...02-E496-465A-BBA9-B2F1182CDF24&displaylang=en
Winavi makes it simple...converts almost all files to wmv..and in settings...change resolution to 320*240.
