Shuffle Algorithm

    Does anyone know what algorithm iTunes and the iPod use for shuffle? It seems to me that its not truely random as my favorite or most played artists come up much more often than anything.

    Shuffle isn't actually shuffle as it follows a sequence everytime. Not sure what the pattern is though buddy..

    Hmm. Well I guess its not really that big of a deal. I'm just trying to hear all of my recently aquired albums 130 in two weeks.... Yikes! I've been ripping all of my roomates cds... I'm gonna need a bigger HDD!
