Hi there, Wonder if anyone can advise on the use of amplifiers or boosters if required. I have fitted a dbox for a friend, but he is having problems with certain channels, including SP3 and all Discovery channels. Now, when we do a signal test on say BBC1 all three seem normal ie, approx, ber- 0 snr-64000 sig 40000 .....but when the same test is conducted on a missing channel the level of 'sig' has dropped by half. Could I require an amplifier? As an aside, I have used the box in my house for a few days and had no trouble at all, with all signals normal. I could try another image, but fails to see how this would help. Any ideas would be gratefully received.
