ok if u have a sig strength of say 87
and a quality of 72 average

do i need an attenuator ?
i only get the odd channle stutter
and its on thoes with hi sig.

and which 1 to get ?

    # Attenuation expressed in decibels of relative power. As a rule of thumb, a 3dB pad reduces power to one half, 6dB to one fourth, 10dB to one tenth, 20dB to one hundredth, 30dB to one thousandth and so on. For voltage you double the dBs so for example 6dB is half in voltage.
    # Frequency bandwidth, for example DC-18 GHz

Best bet is to get variable attenuator they cost about a fiver I think & range 0-20 db
