Hi, I have a Nokia 6230 that is with orange, i have unlocked it it said "Phone restrictions off" but when i put in the o2 sim card it says sim registration failed. What do i need to do to make it work?
It also now says the same thing with the original orange sim card.
Can some one please help me fix this problem, i need my phone urgently.

    Thank you

It may also help to know that i had the phone cut off when it was on orange, so will this have something to do with it.

The phone has been blocked by the network, this why the o2 sim gives registration failed

does the o2 sim work, in a different phone? that will confirm if the phone is blocked by the network

yes it does, i am using a phone belonging to one of my friends that i unblocked. On my handset it looks like it says O2 for a split second on the screen and then i says sim registration failed. Is there a code i can put in to stop that.

so the o2 sim works in a different phone that, means the phone is blocked by the network reported lost or stolen.

if you default on payment, the network will block the phone
