post LAST section of your Nero log, which is in c:\program files\ahead\nero\nerohistory.log, but DO NOT post your serial number which usually begins with '1A21' or similar

and in the meantime, have a look thru this thread for clues, a few of us are currently working thru this one, and are hoping to wrap it up soon... - http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/226004

Exactly which burner have you got there ?

For info, make sure to close more programs prior to any burning

Burning too close edge of discs. If you use dvd shrink, set target size to 4300mb in shrink's preferences, thus avoiding outer edge of discs and not sacricing much space

As to 8x burns try 4x burns..

Try those suggestions and paste another section of logfile

    swp4lfe,
You'll probably need too burn slower, Or it could just be your media. What media are you using and does the DVD work alright in your PC

This is the burner i have:

    http://www.microadvantage.net/consumer/?class=2&product_id=83

What do u mean what media am i using?? I have windows media player, winamp, quicktime , real alternative, nero showtime, music match, & ATI media player.

It works perfectly on my PC its just when i try to put it on DVD its always skippy when using NeroVision. IF i burn a movie with dvd shrink it works perfectly. But if i download a movie and try to convert to video_ts n then use dvd shrink it makes it skippy also.

Im just using nero vision so i can put my clips w/ a menu on dvd. Its just the quality is messy. Ill post another log using 4x and see what happens. Thanks 4 all the responds so far.
