Sky HD box

    hi there

    does anyone know if I can copy a program that I've copied to my sky hd drive, to my pc, I've got my pc connected to my tv, I can use my tv as a monitor, but don't know if i could copy from tv?

    Yes there is a program called copy+ but apparently you wont be able to play them as they need to be encoded.
    you would also need a different cable as your current cable is only tranfering the video card signal

    hi there
    I've installed copy+ onto my pc, do i now connect a usb drive into my sky box? and if so, can you guide me please!

    You need a RS232 cable the same 1 that you use for some cable boxes, they are about £5 on ebay,
    It is pretty simple just connect the box to your pc (via RS232 cable) select the source drive (sky box) then a list of programs will apear just select the ones you need to copy.

    select your Destination drive (anywhere on pc) then simply click on Start Copy and the programs you selected will move onto your pc

    as of yet I dont know how to play the programs on my pc if anyone does please let us know
